Homemade Tincture

Yield: 250 mL

  1. Combine dry element and neutral spirit.
  2. Let steep at room temperature for at least 1 day, but ideally 1 week for best extraction.
  3. Strain liquid part and bottle.

Homemade Liqueur (20% abv, 33 Brix)

Yield: a bit more than 1 L

Yield: 250 mL

  1. Combine dry element and neutral spirit.
  2. Let steep at room temperature for at least 1 day, but ideally 1 week for best extraction.
  3. Strain liquid part. This is the tincture.
  4. Combine water and sugar to form a 2/3 simple syrup.
  5. Blend tincture and syrup and bottle.
